Arenzano Italy

The village of Arenzano extends between the two streams: Cantarena, which divides it from the territory of Voltrese, and Lerone, beyond which the Cogoleto begins. The old Via Aurelia has been the primitive road along which the center developed. The sea, a temperate climate and the architectural beauty of the landscape are the business card of the city. A small fishing village, with a stable climate throughout the year, has increased its reputation as a tourist center thanks to its beaches and the small tourist port of Capo San Martino, the famous pine forests, villas and sports facilities. The cliffs offer rocky cliffs where you can dive to admire the Posidonia meadows; the seabed between Arenzano and Punta Invrea (Varazze) have been proposed as a site of community interest and in 2008 the first diving gym in Italy was inaugurated. Behind the village rises the mountains of the Ligurian Apennines, covered with the typical Mediterranean vegetation that alternates with rocky canyons; we are in the territory of Beigua Park, which covers a vast area that includes numerous municipalities in the provinces of Genoa and Savona, including Arenzano, a town that houses the headquarters of the Beigua Park Authority.
